Thanks, I’ve added you to our “Vegan about Cheltenham” Section after passing your shop this weekend and seeing your vegan options displayed on the window. Hope to try your falafel pitta soon!

    Hi guys!
I’m in Stroud for the next few days, and will be visiting Cheltenham and Gloucester as well.
Is there any place I can buy vegan cakes from?

      Hi Aaron,

The Star Anise Arts Cafe at the bottom of Gloucester Street in Stroud has lots of vegan sweets including cakes.

Woodruffs in Stroud High Street sometimes has vegan cake also.

In Cheltenham, I’ve been hearing great things about Charlton Kings Coffee Shop and Deli, especially their vegan sweets.

      Hope this helps!

P.s I know it’s not cake, but Fat Toni’s opposite Star Anise in Stroud makes fantastic pizza with vegan cheese.

Try Koloshi on the London Road just past Charlton Kings. Proper Indian food with an extensive range of vegan options. You won’t be disappointed!

Hi there. Are there any Vegan/vegan friendly b&b’s or hotels you can recommend for a visit to Cheltenham? Looking forward to a visit shortly 👍 Thank you.

Hello, sorry for the slow reply, I don’t know of any vegan friendly B&Bs in Cheltenham itself I’m afraid, however the Royal Oak in Tetbury is a great option for staying somewhere vegan friendly in Gloucestershire

    Good evening,

Myself and partner have recently been watching documentaries promoting plant based diets and we are on the journey to become vegan. We would appreciate any advise and are interested in meeting like minded people.

Hello, that’s great news, going vegan is a fantastic way to explore new foods and avoid animal cruelty. You’d be welcome to join our events. We co-ordinate them via an email list which you can sign up to here:

Do you have a contact name for the organisers of Stroud vegan market.
I am involved with a charity that saves dogs from the China dog meat trade and would be interested in taking a stall at the market.

Hi Ann, really sorry we missed your question before the fair took place. We have just taken over as new co-ordinators and we’re only just getting to grip with the blog now. Good luck with your charity work!
